Appointment Notes

You will have our gorgeous studio exclusively so you can make yourselves totally at home.

Refreshments are offered to all your Bridal party — bubbles, choice of tea or coffee along with soft drinks.

Please bring up to 3 guests max. We know how difficult this can sometimes be so just call us if you are in a tricky situation!

As much as we love children (I am a mum!), we would ask you to attend without children — babes in arms are totally fine — but we want YOU to enjoy the experience. After all, it's your day!

Please can we ask you to arrive on time? We know how exciting wedding dress shopping is with the urge to arrive early, but the doorbell at a 'YES TO THE DRESS' moment can be a little distracting!

You don't need to worry about wearing a strapless bra. Most of our dresses have amazing internal corsets for incredible support. Bras just put your bust in the wrong position.

Please note that both our bathrooms are on the first floor, only accessible by stairs.

Cancellations and reschedules with less than 72 hours notice are non-refundable or transferable.

Weekend appointment charging is something we have been deliberating for a while now. Any appointment fee is fully redeemable against a dress purchase. We have had many brides cancelling at short notice (or not calling at all) when we could have offered the appointment to brides on our cancellation list — such a shame. All appointments include refreshments, expert guidance and our time.

If you would prefer not to pay a fee, our midweek appointments are totally free and so relaxed!

At every appointment, you will have lots of fun selfie opportunities — we will get the props ready and celebrate finding THE dress with you!

Why We Charge for Appointments

At White Canvas, we believe choosing your gown should feel calm, inspiring and entirely centred around you.

Your appointment fee allows us to reserve our private bridal suite exclusively for you and your guests, creating a relaxed and intimate setting where you can explore your vision without distraction. Prior to your visit, your dedicated bridal stylist thoughtfully prepares a selection of gowns aligned with your style, preferences and inspiration, ensuring your time with us is both purposeful and personal. This fee reflects the care, expertise and preparation that go into delivering a truly elevated bridal experience; one that is tailored entirely to you and designed to feel memorable from beginning to end.

Cancellation Policy

To ensure fairness to all brides, we kindly request at least 48 hours' notice should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment, or non-attendance, will result in the appointment fee being retained, as your private suite and stylist are reserved exclusively for you.
